Spud On The Run is a chronicle of my journey from couch potato to a fit and healthy person. It is a place where I chart my weight loss efforts and talk about diet, nutrition and fitness. Please consult the professionals before getting off the couch and launching into a fitness program, although they will probably tell you that is quite okay to go for a 30 minute walk 5 times a week. :)
About Me
I am thirtysomething geek who is self-confessed couch potato. I have spent the better part of my life on the couch either watching TV and movies or surfing the internet. My days playing on the internet when I should have been studying actually paid off and I now work in IT doing customer support for the digital advertising industry. I therefore spend most of the day sitting on my butt which is why I am now endeavouring to make myself healthier and fitter.
